Arizona Law Schools: Let 3Ls Take The Bar Exam

University of Arizona law professor and Michigan Law grad ('88) Gabriel Chin's musings at a luncheon for 3Ls has turned into something big -- a proposal by all Arizona law schools to let 3Ls take the state's bar exam.  "[The luncheon] really was kind of anti-climactic," Chin told the National Law Journal. "Instead of being the beginning of a new thing, they still had to take the bar. Medical students take their boards while in school, so graduation is a major transformative moment. I thought, 'Something like that could work in the law school context.'" The Arizona Supreme Court is scheduled to take up the proposal tomorrow.
