Two suspects arrested separately for carrying "stun guns" were not subject to prosecution, the Michigan Court of Appeals ruled today. The Court found that both the Michigan and U.S. Constitutions protect a citizen's right to carry a taser or stun gun, which the Court referred to as "arms." As such, the Court found MCL 750.224a unconstitutional.
