Michigan's choice for law school commencement speaker this year, Attorney General Eric Holder, was also Harvard's. Not to mention the University of North Carolina's. Just curious, were the speeches identical? Paul Caron at TaxLawProf Blog has a list, but misses SBM's own Julie Fershtman, at Cooley.
Holder was not the only speaker holding down more than one commencement -- ABA President William Robinson spoke at both CIncinnati and Kentucky. Michigan Congressman Dave Camp was on tap at his alma mater, University of San Diego. Most offbeat speaker? Likely cartoonist Mike Peters at Washington University, although Al Franken may have given him a run for his money at Minnesota. (Having just read the transcript of Franken's address, I take that back. The Senator showed up, not the SNL alum.)
