When you've been indicted on criminal charges of retaliating against lawyers practicing in your court and are subject to a gag order it's probably best to stay off Facebook, especially if you're inclined to post a seven-page commentary about the attorneys involved a civil case on your removal from office, including references to extramarital affairs. This post contains extensive opinions, misinformation, false statements and derogatory, defamatory, libelous personal attacks on the prosecution, one of the victims, and an unrelated party to this case.
SBM Blog is not saying that the allegations in the motion against Texas judge Christopher Dupuy are true, just that it would be a pretty poor strategic move if they are. Law 360 (reg. req.) has the whole story, definitely worth checking out, especially if you can't resist Schadentexanfreude.
