Breaking: Justice Hathaway Announces Resignation Effective January 21

Per the Michigan Supreme Court Public Information Office: The Court was advised this afternoon, by Justice Hathaway's counsel, that she will retire effective January 21. In the interim, she has agreed not to participate in any matters before the Court, including this week's oral arguments.
