Gratuitous analysis of the fireable offenses of a Toronto Santa, as described in this USA Today story:
- Comparing said 3-year old's plaid pants to Paul Bunyan -- Nice cultural hero reference, no offense should be taken. For additional support, see Monty Python, Lumberjack.
- Critical comment about Maple Leaf jersey -- Not entirely inappropriate, and perhaps even, as, Red Wings fan observed, "totally worth it." Plus, somebody's got to break it to the child (though perhaps it shouldn't have been Santa).
- Use of the word "suck." As a mother, I say, "Fire him."
