22nd district court judge Sabrina Johnson, appointed to the seat vacated when former judge Sylvia James was removed from the seat by the Michigan Supreme Court, prevailed over James by a nearly 2-1 margin in Tuesday's election. Judge Johnson appeared on the ballot with an incumbency designation.
