A Memphis lawyer who overheard a conversation on an airline about an NCAA probe was so concerned that a case against the athlete had been prejudged that she contacted the NCAA, which is now investigating the conversation. The athlete, Shabazz Muhammad, was declared ineligible on Nov. 9. The Los Angeles Times, WREG and the New York Times all reported on the story.
