Don't hold your breath because they're in it for the long haul.
That's the message federal prosecutors shared with the public as they laid out their plan for prosecuting Kwame Kilpatrick for allegedly running a criminal enterprise from Detroit's city hall.
They estimate that presenting their evidence in the trial, which is scheduled to begin in early September, will take about four months. During that time they plan to share so much evidence with jurors (over 370,000 text messages, for starters), they have formulated a plan to lay it out in chapters to make it more readily understandable.
