In Memoriam: Barbara Gattorn

Barbara B. Gattorn, former member of the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, died May 12, at the age of 75.  Ms. Gattorn was senior adviser to the president of the Detroit Regional Chamber, and served in a number of civic, charitable, and professional capacities, most recently, as chair of the Michigan Womens Commission. She was chosen by Crain's in 2002 as one of the 100 Most Influential Women. She is survived by her children Mary Quinn , Ann Gattorn and John Gattorn, grandchild Mei Li Quinn, sister Sandy Burr Rezny,  and brother Daniel Burr. Visitation is Wednesday, May 16, from 2-8, at the A.H. Peters Funderal Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier, Grosse Pointe Woods, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Mass will be held Thursday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church 629 E. Jefferson, Detroit.
