Law School Advocacy does an annual composite rating of law school successes at moot court competitions. This year Michigan State University came in at #12 of 114 ranked schools. (MSU made the top ten list in 2009, and 2007; University of Detroit Mercy cracked the top ten in 2008.) Ever the spoilsport AboveTheLaw asks (not so politely) about successful moot court schools, "but do their graduates have jobs?" (Truth is, AboveTheLaw asks that about everything.) Personally, we know a number of successful lawyers who say their most important law school experience was moot court and that nothing prepared them better for the practice of law. Congratulations MSU.
