In Memoriam: Hon. George J. Theut

George J. Theut, of St. Ignace, died February 18, at the age of 85. He was a 1952 graduate of the University of Detroit Law School and served for 27 years as Mackinac County Probate Judge.  He is survived by his wife Betty, children Mark, Paul, Chris, David, Brian, Susan, and Annette, and 18 grandchildren. Visitation is at the Dodson Funeral Home in St. Ignace on Wednesday, February 22, from 4 to 8 p.m., with parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church in St. Ignace.
