We're not talking about a legislature's ability to change (or clarify) a statute in the wake of a court decision interpreting the statute -- we're talking flat out undoing a judicial decision by a legislative override vote. Bills to that effect were introduced in New Jersey this year but have not had a hearing. Montana has had hearings on this type of legislation in several sessions of its legislature, including this one. See SB 323 (2011).
